Who is iTrip®? We’re the largest franchise brand in the short-term rental property management industry. When you dig a little deeper, you’ll realize we’re more than a company. We’re a network of franchisees, professional short-term rental property managers working on behalf of thousands of property owners and investors around the world. We’re also a collaborative company that enables our franchisees to provide boutique care and technology to maximize rental property investments.

How Our Property Management Franchise Got Its Start
iTrip began in 2008, when founders Steve Presley, Todd Morrison, and Tom Bissmeyer, each short-term rental property owners, realized both property owners and guests needed a higher level of service than what was available. They conducted in-depth research, analyzed the short-term rental industry from numerous angles and identified some of the market’s greatest needs, pain points, and growth areas. Afterwards, they quickly saw an opportunity to offer unique services to both rental property homeowners and travelers while not penalizing and restricting vacation rentals. From there, iTrip Vacations was born.
In July 2015, our founders began franchising the iTrip business model to professionals who wanted to own their own business and become part of a national brand. In 2023, iTrip Vacations became iTrip. The company shortened the name in the hopes of offering a more concise branding image.
As of August 2023, some brand highlights include:
